Art Work to Raise Awareness

Digital Fun for Kids!

In these challenging times...

We’ve worked hard to expand our team from our 2019 total of 7 to now include 9 new members across London, Canada and Germany. We are very excited to officially have 16 children joining us at our weekly team meetings to unite on a mission to raise awareness for children in need of nutritious food and to help solve world hunger. We'll share more information about that soon, but first.....

Raise Awareness Campaign #hungercrisis2020

We have also planned a digital art project! We hope to engage children all over the world to raise awareness for the impending increased Hunger Crisis as a result of Covid-19.

We now have 2 beautiful works of art on our website, that children can download or print their choice of template, colour it in and post it on instagram/facebook or simply share with their family/friends. Ideally they also read the content about the hunger crisis and begin to understand that the Coronavirus is impacting the world’s most vulnerable communities.

The coronavirus pandemic has brought hunger to millions of children around the world. National lockdowns and social distancing measures are drying up work and incomes, and are likely to disrupt agricultural production and supply routes — leaving millions of families and children to worry how they will get enough to eat.

Already, 135 million people had been facing acute food shortages, but now with the pandemic, 130 million more could go hungry in 2020, (World Food Program, a United Nations agency). Altogether, an estimated 265 million people and their children could be pushed to the brink of starvation by year’s end. “ - source New York Times

They are illustrated by artist, Jody Jessop, from Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
